A full digital strategy to suit this cultural landmark.

I worked with the team at Blue State Digital on the User experience phase of the redesign of the website for the Natural history museum. Key activities involved user research and testing, stakeholder engagement, prototyping, creating the site structure and wireframes. I went on to work in-house at the Natural history museum to further develop the visual design work, producing a complete set of page designs, style guides and page transitions.

Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum in London is a museum in south kensington exhibiting a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history. The museum is home to life and earth science specimens comprising some 80 million items within five main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology. The museum is a world-renowned centre of research specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation. Given the age of the institution, many of the collections have great historical as well as scientific value.
