A redesign of a language proficiency app and extensive user testing to improve program discoverability and create clear onward journeys throughout the global website.

I lead the redesign of their standardised testing application, designed for non-native english speakers to demonstrate their language proficiency. The task was more about experience of answer questions that the look and feel which was intended to be simple.
I worked on several other initiatives involving the improvement of the global website for this academic and language training company. A key focus was to improve the ability for users to understand the various programs on offer and what it most suitable to them. I conducted a great deal of in-person and remote testing to gain insights and make relevant improvements to the design of pages and overall structure of their global websites. The process was agile and included the prototyping and testing of interactions to confirm the final approach. I analysed data including heat maps and scroll reach to make improvements suited to the user

Since 1965, EF has helped millions of people see new places, experience new cultures, and learn new things about the world and about themselves. Their experiential learning programs—focused on language, travel, cultural exchange, and academics—help turn dreams into opportunities for people of all ages and nationalities.

Three distinct navigation structures were created to be tested for the website.

Detailed reports were created that summarised the test findings. This served to progress the design, as well as justify decisions to stakeholders within the business.
